THE PROCESS

Your wedding is more than a day to celebrate. It is the start of your love story in history. When the flowers are gone and the cake is finished, your photos will stay. Capturing your special day needs more than a camera. It needs care, passion, and an eye for real moments. Wedding photography is not just taking pictures—it is keeping feelings, smiles, and memories that never come again.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Payment Terms:

• Booking Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. For weddings, the percentage is 30% of the total.

• Travel, Accommodation Costs & VAT: VAT is included, but travel and accommodation costs are not included in the price and will be charged separately.

Timely Communication:

• Details Provision: Please provide all necessary details of the shoot, including location (unless the Photographer is the one to choose it) and date, as early as possible.

• Schedule Changes: Inform me promptly of any delays or schedule changes. A 10-minute delay is acceptable, but any delay beyond this may result in a reduction of shoot time or additional charges.

File Handling:

• Raw Files: Raw files are an essential part of the photographer's workflow and will not be shared with clients. Only edited images will be provided.

• Image Storage: All photographs will be stored for up to half a year after the final product has been delivered. After this period, all files related to the project may be deleted.

• Clients receive only the amount of the pictures included in the package. There is a possibility to choose more with an additional charge.

Copyright and Usage:

• Copyright: All images are protected by copyright and cannot be used for commercial purposes without the photographer's permission.

• Commercial Use: Clients may not sell or distribute the images to commercial third parties without written consent from the photographer.

Editing Requests:

• Extensive Edits: Requests for extensive editing (such as retouching or body modifications) will be quoted separately.

Usage Permission:

• Permission: Before using the images/videos for promotional purposes, including on the website and social media platforms, the photographer must ask for permission from the client.

Session Conduct:

• Respectful Behaviour: Clients are expected to behave respectfully and professionally during the photoshoot. Any inappropriate behavior may result in the termination of the session without a refund. No third party is allowed to observe the photoshoot process without the photographer's permission.

• Second Shooter: If necessary, I may use a second shooter. It is also my responsibility to arrange a photographer who is confident to has the knowledge and equipment. The clients will not be involved in the selection or communication with the second shooter.

Cancellation and Rescheduling:

• Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled shoot will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

• Rescheduling: Clients may reschedule their shoot once without penalty, provided they give at least 24 hours' notice (this doesn't apply to the weather or health conditions).

Weather and Location Changes:

• Weather: In case of adverse weather conditions, the photographer reserves the right to reschedule the shoot for another date.

• Location Permissions: If the client chooses the location of the photoshoot, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that any necessary permissions for the chosen location are obtained before the shoot.

Product Delivery:

• Turnaround Time: Couple photos will be delivered within 3 weeks, and wedding photos within 6-8 weeks after the shoot. Rush editing may be available for an additional fee.

• Delivery Method: Images will be delivered digitally through an online gallery.

Health and Safety:

• Safety Precautions: The photographer will adhere to all health and safety guidelines. Clients are expected to do the same.

These rules are designed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. By booking a photoshoot with SECJULEE, clients agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

Do you shoot film or digital?

I mostly shoot digital, but can also shoot film upon special request.

How many photos will we get and how long does it take?

The edited photos with artistic colors. For weddings, you are expected to receive sneak-peeks of 30 photos within 1 week, and the remaining photos will be delivered within 6-8 weeks.

What is your photography style?

My style is a blend of documentary and cinematic photography. I focus on capturing the genuine, fleeting moments and emotions of your day as they unfold, telling your story with an artistic and timeless feel. I prioritize candid shots over posed ones.

Do you travel for weddings outside of the Netherlands?

Absolutely! While I am based in the Netherlands, I love to travel and have photographed couples all over the world. Please contact me with details about your destination, and I can create a custom travel package for you.

What are your prices and packages?

My packages are designed to fit different needs, from intimate elopements to full-day wedding celebrations. Please contact me directly for a custom quote.

How far in advance should we book you?

I recommend reaching out as soon as you have your date and venue confirmed to ensure my availability.

How many photos will we receive?

The number of photos depends on the duration of your coverage, but for a typical 8-hour wedding, you can expect to receive between 400-600 fully edited, high-resolution images. I focus on quality over quantity, delivering a curated gallery that tells the complete story of your day.

Do we get the rights to our photos?

Yes, you will receive personal usage rights to all your final images. This means you can download, print, and share them with friends and family as much as you like.

When will we get our photos?

You will receive a small preview gallery of highlights within one week of your wedding. The full, edited gallery will be delivered within 6-8 weeks.

Do you offer engagement or pre-wedding sessions?

Yes, I love doing pre-wedding sessions! It's a fantastic way for us to get to know each other before the big day and for you to have beautiful, casual photos. These can be added to any wedding package or booked separately.

Do you work with a second photographer?

For larger weddings (over 100 guests) or events with complex logistics, I highly recommend adding a second photographer to ensure every angle is captured. We can discuss if this is the right option for your day during our consultation.

What kind of equipment do you use?

I use professional-grade digital cameras and a variety of lenses to capture your day in the highest quality. I always carry backup equipment to ensure I am prepared for any situation.

What happens if you are sick or can't make it to our wedding?

In the extremely unlikely event that I am unable to attend your wedding due to a severe illness or emergency, I will do everything in my power to find a trusted, professional replacement photographer who shares a similar style and skill level.
